ⓘ What do the party and ideology labels mean?
On the ballot, partisan candidates run under a party — in Wisconsin almost always Democratic or Republican, with the occasional third-party or independent candidate. Words like progressive, conservative, libertarian, or democratic socialist are labels people use to describe themselves, not separate parties on the ballot. A label is a starting point; each candidate's sourced positions show where they actually stand.

You may have noticed — no Freak Out Friday this week. That's because we're launching a new weekly Sunday series on education. First up: Rep. Snodgrass once told parents to pay for private school if they want a say. Even Governor Evers disagreed. 👀

Property taxes keep climbing, even after your mortgage is paid off. For retirees on a fixed income, that can mean losing the home you've spent a lifetime paying for. I'm Reive Pullen, and I believe no one should be taxed out of their own home.

I joined the Marine Corps to serve something bigger than myself. I'm running for State Assembly for the same reason. I'm Reive Pullen. I've served as a United States Marine, a 911 dispatcher and a Community Service Officer with the Appleton Police Department. Today I own a small business right here in the Fox Cities. I know what it means to answer the call and keep your word. That's what I'll bring to Madison: lower costs for families, fair funding for our schools, and results instead of us vs them rhetoric. Vote Pullen for Assembly on November 3rd.

Appleton gets less per student than many Wisconsin school districts. That's not because our kids need less. It's because of a funding formula written in 1993. Back then, Appleton kept its spending in check. The state locked in that low baseline, and we've been stuck with it ever since. Today, Appleton spends about $2,000 less per student than the state average. I've spent over a year at Appleton school board meetings and on the district's Financial Planning Advisory Committee. My EQUAL Act replaces the 1993 formula with the same base amount for every student in Wisconsin, plus fair funding for special education, poverty, and rural transportation. I'm Reive Pullen, and I believe your kids shouldn't pay for a decision made over 30 years ago. Vote Pullen for Assembly on November 3rd.

Wisconsin gave massive data centers a tax break projected to cost the state over $2 billion, while straining our power grid and water supply. I'm the only candidate in this race committed to a one-year moratorium on hyperscale data centers, so real guardrails get put in place before any show up in the Fox Valley. Vote Pullen for Assembly on November 3rd.
