ⓘ What do the party and ideology labels mean?
On the ballot, partisan candidates run under a party — in Wisconsin almost always Democratic or Republican, with the occasional third-party or independent candidate. Words like progressive, conservative, libertarian, or democratic socialist are labels people use to describe themselves, not separate parties on the ballot. A label is a starting point; each candidate's sourced positions show where they actually stand.

Dana Glasstein has lived in Mequon for twenty-five years. Her argument for conservation funding is not abstract: it's about what this county looks like when your grandkids begin to build a family here. A vote for Dana is a vote to maintain our conservation tradition.

Fixed income. Unfixed prices. Somebody has to close that gap. Property taxes went up. Groceries went up. Your Social Security adjustment did not keep pace, and you noticed, because you're the one balancing it. Dana Glasstein is running to protect those on fixed incomes and to bring down the costs squeezing it. Tell her that's the fight you want in Madison.

The pharmacy counter is where policy stops being abstract. You hand over the card. You wait. And you find out what a decision made in Madison actually costs you this month. Dana Glasstein wants a cap on prescription costs for seniors, because a fixed income is fixed and a drug price is not. That's the whole argument.

Dana Glasstein has spent nineteen years in a classroom, not in the Capitol. She has taught at Waukesha County Technical College since 2007 — adult students, most of them working full time. She is not a career politician. What she brings instead is nineteen years of listening to people describe, in plain terms, what health care actually costs them. That's the experience she'd take to Madison.

Forty years of Knowles-Nelson. Truly bi-partisan. Worth keeping. Wisconsin's conservation tradition isn't a partisan invention — it's Gaylord Nelson and Warren Knowles, and it's why your grandkids will still have somewhere to hike and fish. Dana Glasstein will vote to fund it. That’s the ask, a vote for Dana is a vote to maintain this tradition.

Conservation is maintenance. Everything else is deferred maintenance. Every farmer and every homeowner in this district understands that fixing something early is cheaper than replacing it late. Dana Glasstein applies the same logic to Wisconsin's land and water. A vote for Dana is a vote for common sense.

The data center campus going up in Port Washington is a $15 billion project. It will need so much electricity that a power-line project now estimated at more than $2 billion is being proposed to connect it. Somebody pays for all of that. I'm Dana Glasstein, and I'm running for State Assembly because it should be the companies building it, not the families who already live here. Data centers should pay their own way, with every dollar on the public record, and not one cent on your utility bills.
$0–$99Paid for by Dana For WisconsinView ad on Meta
This isn't a partisan issue. In last month's Marquette poll, 74 percent of Wisconsin voters, in both parties, said the costs of data centers outweigh the benefits, and half of them named the price of electricity as one of their two biggest worries. The Legislature had data center bills in front of it in March and adjourned without passing one. I'm Dana Glasstein. I'm running for State Assembly to finish the job: public reporting of energy and water use, ratepayers protected, and data centers paying their own way.

Somebody pays. It shouldn't be you. My position is simple: the companies building the data center pay, not the homeowners already here.

When I knock on doors in this district, healthcare costs come up more than anything else. People tell me their premium went up again, their deductible is higher than it was, and they put off going to the doctor because they don't know what it will cost. It's an issue that's affecting us all. I'm Dana Glasstein and I'm running for State Assembly to bring those costs down.

Talk to a business owner in Grafton or Port Washington and you will hear the same thing. They have openings, but they can't find people with the right training. At the same time, many of our kids take on four years of debt and end up working somewhere else. Apprenticeships and technical colleges are the answer to both problems, and I have spent 19 years working inside that system. I'm Dana Glasstein, and I'm running for State Assembly.

I've taught in the WI Technical College System for 19 years. Most of the students in my classes already have a job. They come in after work because they want a better one, and a technical college is the most direct way to get there. Employers in our district need those workers. I'm Dana Glasstein, and I'm running for State Assembly to keep that kind of training affordable and close to home.

We Energies has asked the state for a rate increase of about $13 a month for a typical household in 2027, with another the year after. We Energies says that request has nothing to do with data centers. Maybe so. But the biggest electricity customers Wisconsin has ever seen are coming online soon, and we need to make sure they don't show up in your future bills. I'm Dana Glasstein. I'm running for State Assembly to make sure data centers pay the full cost of the power and the lines they use, and that a family in Grafton or Port Washington never covers the difference.

Most families I talk to have one. A doctor or hospital bill that was far more than they expected and that nobody can explain. I've lived in this community for 26 years and raised two sons here, and I know how far a surprise like that can set a family back. I'm Dana Glasstein. I'm running for State Assembly because the people who pay these bills deserve a Representative in Madison who is paying attention.

Your utility bill shouldn't subsidize billion-dollar data centers. It's time for transparency, accountability, and making big corporations pay their own way.
